CSCSFrom October 2014, anyone wishing to apply for a CSCS Labourers Green Card MUST have passed a 1-day training course as well as the computer test. This course must be equivalent to a Level 1 QCF for Health & Safety in a Construction Environment to be accepted.
At GSS, we run the following courses which are accepted by CSCS:
– SPA Core Construction (1 Day)
- Pass the SPA Core Construction course with GSS Training
- Pass the computer test at any test centre near you
- Apply for your CSCS card

Can I obtain a Grant to contribute to the cost?
For those companies who are registered with the CITB, you will be able to claim (subject to CITB approval) monies to pay for part of the CITB Health and Safety course. Please ask our administrators about how to do this if you are registered with the CITB.
